| I
have been teaching at Notre Dame for 12
years. I have a degree in
French from the University of Illinois and I completed a Master's
in Education in the spring of 2002 from Notre Dame de Namur
University. I also have a minor in Spanish. I have travelled in
France 16 times - 10 of those as a chaperone with students
I
am
from Chicago and had been teaching there for 8 years when I got
married. I stayed home to raise my 2 children and didn't return to
teaching until we moved to California. In the 29 years I
have been married, I've moved 11 times - 6 states, 8 cities( Chicago,
St. Louis, Atlanta, Annapolis, Dallas, Morgan Hill, Los Angeles, and
Danville ), 10 homes,
2 apartments.
There
are 3 things I am passionate about -all things French, my family, and
my teaching. I love being at Notre Dame where I can be with wonderful
co-workers, delightful students, and caring parents.
When
I'm
not teaching I love to read, do crafts, spend time at the beach, watch
Jeopardy, Grey's Anatomy, and kids movies (I love "Home Alone"), and
,of
course, eat CHOCOLATE!!!!
